Tess has just put Alice back to bed and is looking forward to a quiet night in. As such, she's settled by the fire in the study, a book she'd picked up randomly earlier in the week on the table in front of her. If she's lucky, she might even get to start it.

"Exactly. I mean, he likes Tara and George well enough, but sometimes he just wants me. And Alice, well. Babies are babies." She tilts her head up to look at him. "What do you suggest, I have him start his army training?"

"That would do it," he tells her, nodding again. "Send him home with me, and I'll turn him into a little Kandorian in no time.
