You Are 28% Ready to Be a Parent

Even though you might feel ready, you're really not ready to be a parent. Having a kid will drain your resources. And you simply don't have enough to give right now.

You would make a great parent one day, but you need to improve your life first. You want to make sure your relationships are as stable as possible.

If you're already a parent, times are probably a bit tough for you. Just keep doing the best you can!

Awesome. Internet invalidation is the best.

Blogthings: We Have a Quiz for Almost Everything (http://www.blogthings.com)

Not that I'm ready to have another a baby, but this test is unfairly biased against single parent families.

That too. Whoever wrote this quiz should be fired.

Usually I don't believe these quizzes are all that accurate. But as long as you're pleased with the results.

You're planning to have a baby?

[identity profile] mom-of-steel.livejournal.com 2010-03-11 12:11 am (UTC)(link)
I'm sorry, I'm not...uh, I'm not very good at mustering up enthusiasm for other peoples' pregnancies, but I suppose congratulations are in order. Congratulations.

You aren't married, are you?

[identity profile] mom-of-steel.livejournal.com 2010-03-11 12:44 am (UTC)(link)
Bet you his wife wouldn't.

[identity profile] mom-of-steel.livejournal.com 2010-03-11 12:48 am (UTC)(link)
I have a feeling it's about to be.

If she's not worried about a wily young lady carrying her husband's baby, she is not a smart woman, Ms. Mercer.

We'll just have to agree to disagree there.

It was neither a compliment nor an insult.

[identity profile] mom-of-steel.livejournal.com 2010-03-11 01:08 am (UTC)(link)
I suspect you often do.

Suit yourself.

[identity profile] mom-of-steel.livejournal.com 2010-03-11 01:16 am (UTC)(link)
You didn't have a happy childhood, did you, Ms. Mercer?

[identity profile] mom-of-steel.livejournal.com 2010-03-11 01:22 am (UTC)(link)
I'm just asking a question. Anyway, I suppose I didn't have to ask. I can always tell.

[identity profile] mom-of-steel.livejournal.com 2010-03-11 01:26 am (UTC)(link)
Yes. Yes, it does.

[identity profile] notyouranswer.livejournal.com 2010-03-11 06:02 pm (UTC)(link)
Interesting quiz to be taking.

[identity profile] notyouranswer.livejournal.com 2010-03-11 08:33 pm (UTC)(link)
Who's the f-

Not necessarily an unpleasant surprise, one would hope.

[identity profile] notyouranswer.livejournal.com 2010-03-11 08:41 pm (UTC)(link)
I've no doubt you'll do what you believe is necessary.

[identity profile] notyouranswer.livejournal.com 2010-03-11 08:49 pm (UTC)(link)
But well worth the nightmare.

And meme results are worth very little at the end of the day.
