When they leave Milliways, Tess and Jim enter what looks very much like an elevator. That's because it is. Steel all around with a camera up in one corner.

She presses the button for the top floor and then waits.

Tess walks to the elevator and concentrates for a moment before pressing the button to open. When it does so, Milliways can clearly be seen on the other side.

"Have a good day, darling."

Jim snorts at that, and drags the bag over his shoulder. Fine, he'll play along, albeit in a tone dripping with sarcasm.

'You too, dear. Remember to pick up the dry cleaning, and try not to lose the kids after football.'

He pecks her on the cheek, tips her a wink and heads off, his mind already switched back to more interesting, moon-based problems.
